Danish Association of Research Managers and Administrators
The purpose of DARMA is to support Danish research through the professionalisation of research management and administration (RMA). DARMA has been active in establishing RMA as a recognised profession in Denmark and works continuously on developing the profession because excellent science requires excellent research management and administration.
DARMA is relevant for any individual with a professional interest in support, administration, and management of research, who wishes to increase or improve their professional skills and build networks with dedicated colleagues and peers in Denmark and around the world.
DARMA is driven by volunteer engagement by members who engage themselves in topics relevant to their employment elsewhere. Most employers regards volunteering and engaging in DARMA’s activities as very relevant and count the time spent on this as working hours.

Join DARMA
A DARMA membership gives you a number of advantages:
- You can participate in most DARMA activities for free or at a reduced price
- You can join a Special Interest Group and network with peers
- You can apply for a stipend
- You can become a member of SRA International for free
- You get participate in a number of international activities at a reduced price
Anyone who works with or have a professional interest in Research Management and Administration can become a member.
The membership fee is DKK 825 plus VAT per person per year (DKK 1031.25 incl. VAT).
